Anzac Day 2024 – Commemorative activities and road closures

Anzac Day is observed annually on 25 April and commemorates the anniversary of the Dardanelles Campaign Landing in 1915.

The theme for this year’s Anzac Day Commemorations is the International Force for East Timor (INTERFET) which marks the 25th anniversary of the Australian-led deployment of more than 5,000 personnel to the 22-nation regional force to address the humanitarian and security crisis that took place in East Timor from 1999–2000.

The Returned and Services League of South Australia (RSL SA) is responsible for the delivery of Anzac Day activities in the City of Adelaide, in partnership with the City of Adelaide and the South Australian Government.
