Our incentives for sustainability offer cash back for residents, businesses, and groups to make sustainable practices and technology more accessible and affordable.
These can include:

- resource recovery and more.
The incentives and rebates help with costs, increase the value of the property and support our mission to cut carbon emissions and create a circular economy.

Energy Monitoring
50% up to $100
Stand-alone energy monitoring display where no solar PV or battery system is installed.
Appliance electrification
50% up to $1,000
Residential replacement of gas or wood burning appliance with electric or solar powered (e.g. hot water).
50% up to $5,000
Commercial replacement of gas or wood burning appliance with electric or solar powered (e.g. hot water).
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
50% up to $250
Electric bicycle charging station
50% up to $1,000
Electric vehicle one way charging station (7 kW to <50 kW)
25% up to $2,000
Electric vehicle ‘smart’* charging station (7 kW to < 50 kW)
* Smart stations include those with demand management capabilities or two-way charging capabilities

Retailer Energy Productivity Scheme (REPS) top up

Commercial green waste diversion

Commercial rapid composter, dehydrator or similar system to divert green waste from landfill.
Pre-approval required including statement affirming landfill avoidance strategy.
Business Solar PV
20% up to $1,250
Solar PV system (10 kW to <20 kW)
20% up to $2,500
Solar PV system (>20 kW)
Shared Solar
20% up to $20,000 per site (with a maximum of $500 per premise)
Sharing of solar electricity between tenants in multi-storey premises (>20 kW).
Minimum 25% shared to individual tenants, not common areas.
Energy Smart Buildings
20% up to $25,000
Innovative, whole-building approaches that make a measurable impact to energy efficiency and electrification of the building.
Residential strata buildings and Community/ body corporation buildings must be multi-storey
Multi-storey commercial buildings must be managed by a strata-managed.

Business Sustainability Training Support
50% up to $200
Multi-session training courses designed to build small to medium business capacity to improve sustainability and/or reduce emissions.
Pre-approval required.
Limit of two rebates per business per year.
Food Organics Collection
Up to $400
Two-months expenses for contracting a food organics collection service.
Hard Waste Collection
50% up to $400
One-off hard waste pickup to remove unwanted items and increase storage space for resource recovery items.
Reusable Delivery Transport Containers Services
50% up to $500
Services that deliver back-of-house supplies in reusable containers to your business.
Initial Purchase of Reusable Delivery Transport Containers
50% up to $10,000
Initial purchase of reusable transport containers between supplier and business.
Commercial Dishwasher
50% up to $7,000
Purchase of commercial dishwasher to improve opportunities to use, wash and reuse items.
Indoor sorting bins
50% up to $5,000
Purchase of indoor sorting bin (e.g. recycling, organics) and educational signage.
Reusable takeaway containers
50% up to $3,000
Purchase or subscription of reusable takeaway coffee cups and food containers through reusable supplier.
