Frequently asked questions
As you are driving into North Adelaide you will see event parking advisory signs located at the 16 entry roads into the area. These display the date and time of the next upcoming event parking times. A sample is shown below.
Event parking control signs will apply during events specified on event parking advisory signs.
You will find the 2P event parking signs positioned above the normal parking controls within the North Adelaide area indicated on the map above.
Access car parking spaces for event days at Adelaide Oval are managed by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority.
Limited Disabled Access permit passes are available and are issued on a first in, first served basis, if you wish to apply contact Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority directly.
Disability drop off and pick up zones
For your convenience disability drop off and pick up zones for event days are located at:
- War Memorial Drive, out the front of Next Gen Health Clubs and Tennis SA, adjacent to Pinky Flat. This drop off zone must be accessed from the westerns side via Montefiore Road or Morphett Street Bridge (disability permit holders only).
- King William Road, adjacent to the East Gate for north-bound traffic.
- Pennington Terrace (northern end of Adelaide Oval)
Torrens Parade Ground parking
Limited disability parking is available in the Torrens Parade Ground for Adelaide Oval events. This is also managed by the Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority. A cash payment is required on entry. For enquiries please contact the Authority.
On-street parking options
To assist with access (disability) parking for Adelaide Oval during events, companion parking is also available in War Memorial Drive and King William Road.
In addition, disability parking permit holders are able to park on-street within any signed ‘2P event parking’ space for a total of 4 hours (double the 2 hours) when the event parking controls apply. It is important to note that the times indicated in designated disabled parking spaces do not permit additional time and permit holders are only entitled to the time specified on the sign.
The above concession/parking arrangements are only valid when the vehicle is being used to transport the disability parking permit holder. A valid disabled parking permit must be displayed so the number and expiry date are clearly visible from the exterior of the vehicle.
For further enquiries related to on-street parking please contact our customer centre.

You can download a summary of this information on the event parking flyer.
