Rymill Park Upgrade
Project status – Works underway
Why are we doing this?
Rymill Park / Murlawirrapurka is undergoing a coordinated series of upgrades to improve safety, accessibility, and sustainability while preparing the park for future community use and events.
Current works include path and lighting upgrades, irrigation system replacement, stormwater rehabilitation along Botanic Creek, and kiosk electrical improvements. Together, these projects will help reverse damage caused by large-scale events, enhance the park’s resilience, and support year-round activation.
This investment ensures Rymill Park remains a safe, inclusive, and vibrant destination for everyone - whether you're visiting for a walk, picnic, play, or festival.
