Rymill Park Upgrade
Project status – Advanced notification
About the project
We are renewing aging paths throughout Rymill Park and installing new path lighting in selected areas. These upgrades are designed to enhance the safety and accessibility of the park for all users.
Why are we doing this?
This project aims to improve the overall safety and accessibility of Rymill Park by upgrading aging infrastructure and enhancing lighting in key areas. These improvements will ensure the park remains a safe and welcoming space for everyone.
When are we doing it?
The project is scheduled to begin with the contractor setting up their site compound in the North-East of the park, north of the Adelaide Bowling Club, from 5 September.
The works will be carried out in stages to minimise disruption and are expected to be completed before the Christmas break.
Community feedback
Community feedback has highlighted the importance of improved lighting and safer pathways within the park. This project directly responds to those concerns, and we will provide regular updates on its progress.
