Taking notice and slowing down helps you to feel calm and, relaxed, think clearly and improve your mood. Learn to enjoy each moment and the small things that make you happy. Look out for the colours of the trees changing with the seasons or listen for birds singing early in the morning. Maybe try a few of the following suggestions.

- Find your zen in the Park Lands
- Connect more with Gardens and nature in the city
- Take a walk along the Adelaide Kaurna Walking Trail
- Practice meditation at one of our Community Centres
- Take a camera on a walk and photograph the natural environment or interesting things you spot through streets and laneways in our city; take the time to really notice the colours and textures of what you are photographing
- Appreciate art on a street art trail
- Try forest bathing
