The Central Market Arcade will be a new social and commercial heart for Adelaide. The arcade will promote the market district as the premier precinct showcasing the very best of South Australian food, wine and produce.

The character and class of the Adelaide Central Market inspired the concept design of the neighbouring Central Market Arcade Redevelopment. The distinctive red brick arches are just one of the elements that will ensure the arcade seamlessly transitions into the Adelaide Central Market.

The inspiring architecture and mix of retail, residential, hotel and commercial office space will create destination that appeals to the broadest range of people.
New north/south and east/west links will connect surrounding areas and businesses. These links will contribute to a thriving laneway culture and support public art.
When completed, the arcade will offer day and night activities, become a key community hub and contribute to laneway culture by linking surrounding areas. Basement loading and servicing and public car parking will also support the surrounding areas.
The redevelopment will add an icon to the Adelaide skyline and will ensure our world renowned market district will continue to be embraced as the central heart of the city for locals as well as an unmissable spot for tourists.
