Ten Gigabit Adelaide community events
On Tuesday 20 October members of the Ten Gigabit Adelaide Community met to hear more about the Power of Data. This coincided with a major milestone announcement - 1000 buildings are now connected to Ten Gigabit Adelaide network enabling thousands of businesses and organisations to reliably share and receive high volumes of data at up to 10Gbps.
Just as Adelaide reached a new era of connectivity on Tuesday, so did the Ten Gigabit Adelaide Community with a much needed to reconnect over breakfast on the roof top garden of the Majestic Hotel.
The panel speakers Michael Golding at FOUR, Domenico Gelonese at 369Labs | Emberpulse and Patrick Canny at CannyInsights shared their insights and what unlocking the power of data really means for them.
They covered a range of topics including:
- presenting energy data in new and meaningful ways to empower the consumer;
- integrating disparate data sources and how it can be overcome;
- reflecting on the inefficiencies of paper processes;
- highlighting the effect COVID-19 has on visitation and expenditure

The City of Adelaide is pleased to partner with TPG Telecom as the ‘Official Network Partner’ of Ten Gigabit Adelaide. TPG has been engaged to implement the first and most visible element of Ten Gigabit Adelaide: the delivery and installation of the fibre optic network across the city of Adelaide, 10Gbps data transfer capability, and a range of high-performance services for the business community.
