Membership is on us!

To celebrate the launch of the Music Toy Library, we’ve got 50 FREE memberships available throughout the month of May. Normally valued at $30, be one of the first 50 people to sign up in person at the Hutt Street Library and receive a year-long membership free of charge, it is as simple as that.

Memberships will be given out on a first come first serve basis so get in quick!

This offer is not available to City of Adelaide staff members. This offer is only available until 31 May 2022 and standard membership conditions apply. At the conclusion of the free subscription normal annual subscription prices will apply.

Adelaide City Library’s new Music Toy Library supports children to develop early numeracy, literacy and emotional skills in a fun and engaging way. 

As a UNESCO Creative City of Music, the City of Adelaide recognises the incredible value of music to the community including developmental benefits to children. 

This unique toy library is home to a wide range of more than 120 musical toys and instruments that are environmentally friendly and suitable for ages zero to five. 

Membership and fees

All South Australia residents can join and borrow with a Music Toy Library membership card. 

Simply bring some identification with your name, address, signature and photograph. 

Membership is not transferrable to other toy libraries.

Returns

All items are to be returned to the Hutt Street Library during opening hours.

Please do not return toys via the after-hours chute as damage may occur.
