Music Toy Library

City Libraries’ Music Toy Library supports children to develop early numeracy, literacy and emotional skills in a fun and engaging way.

As a UNESCO Creative City of Music, the City of Adelaide recognises the incredible value of music to the community, including developmental benefits to children. This Music Toy Library supports the Government of South Australia and Raising Literacy's Words Grow Minds program by encouraging playing, singing, and music to foster social and intellectual brain development in early years.

This unique toy library is home to a wide range of more than 200 musical toys and instruments that are environmentally friendly and suitable for ages zero to five.
