Live music venues loading zones
Providing musicians with better access to live music venues across the city.
The Live Music Loading Zones project is an initiative of the City of Adelaide, as part of its commitment to the city’s vibrant live music culture. It is initiatives such as this that have resulted in Adelaide being designated Australia’s first UNESCO City of Music.
City of Music zones
Loading options are available for musicians and their crew at several city and North Adelaide live music venues. Where private or other loading options are not available, ‘At All Times’ loading zones have been created as close to the venues as possible.
The zones are easy to find, just look for the orange City of Music sign. These City of Music Loading Zones allow you to load over a maximum of 30 minutes, rather than 10 minutes, regardless of vehicle type. Don’t forget to have your orange “City of Music” artist sticker (available from City of Adelaide - Customer Centre at 25 Pirie Street) on your vehicle.
Please note: These zones may be used for other purposes (such as a bus zone, no standing zone) at certain times. Refer to the signage at the time of parking. Penalties apply if you park outside permitted times.
