Consent is granted to the Commissioner of Police to issue a Road Closure Order to grant the appropriate dispensations under s.33 of the Road Traffic Act to enable the road closures of:
- Ebenezer Place between Union Street and Rundle Street from 2:00 pm to 11:59 pm
- Union Street between Rundle Street and Sym Choon Lane from 4:00 pm to 11:59 pm

Persons taking part in this event are exempt from all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour on roads.
Persons taking part in the ‘Ebenezer Night Markets 2024/2025’ on the above road be exempted from all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour on roads.
Emergency vehicles are exempt from road closure in emergency situations.

The event road closures are to facilitate the upcoming Santos Tour Down Under event from Tuesday 7 January to Thursday 30 January 2025.
Event road closure schedules:
Santos Tour Down Under – City of Adelaide Tour Village
Between 5:00 am on Tuesday 7 January 2025 and 10:00 pm on Thursday 30 January 2025 the following road will be closed:
- Reconciliation Plaza between Wakefield Street and Grote Street.
Tour Down Under - Villawood Men’s Classic
Between 9:00 pm on Friday 17 January 2025 and 9:00 am on Sunday 19 January 2025 the following road will be closed:
- Rundle Road between East Terrace and Dequetteville Terrace
Between 6:00 am and 11:59 pm on Saturday 18 January 2025, the following roads will be closed:
- Rundle Street between Vardon Avenue and East Terrace (eastbound traffic diversions at Union Street & Frome Street).
- East Terrace between Pirie Street and Botanic Lane.
- East Terrace from Bartles Road to a point 50 meters south.
- Pirie Street from Hutt Street to a point 50 Meters west.
- Grenfell Street between Tam O Shanter Lane and East Terrace (eastbound traffic diversions at Union Street and Frome Street).
- Bartels Road between East Terrace and Dequetteville Terrace.
- Vardon Avenue between East Terrace and Rundle Street (residential vehicles exempt).
- Charlick Circuit from East Terrace to a point 20 meters west.
- Hutt Street between Tucker Street and Pirie Street (northbound traffic diverted at Flinders Street).

Between 7:00 am on Saturday 25 January 2025 and 12 noon on Sunday 26 January 2025 the following road will be closed:
- Union Street between Grenfell Street and a point 70 meters north.
Schwalbe Women’s One-Day Classic & Men’s Stage 6 – Sunday 26 January 2025
Between 7:00 pm on Saturday 25 January 2025 and 9:00 pm on Sunday 26 January 2025 the following road will be closed:
- Victoria Drive between Kintore Avenue and King William Road.
Between 2:00 am and 9:00 pm on Sunday 26 January 2025, the following roads will be closed:
- King William Road between North Terrace and Kermode Street
- King William Street (northbound carriageways) between Currie Street and North Terrace.
- Festival Drive from King William Road to a point 150 meters west.
- War Memorial Drive between Montefiore Road and King Willaim Road.
- War Memorial Drive between Sir Edwin Smith Avenue and Frome Road.
- War Memorial Drive from Frome Road to a point 100 meters east (traffic diversions at Bundeys Road).
- Montefiore Road (southbound carriageways) between Jeffcott Street and a point 150 meters south of War Memorial Drive.
- Montefiore Hill between Jeffcott Street and Pennington Terrace
- Pennington Terrace between Palmer Place and Sir Edwin Smith Avenue.
- Palmer Place (western carriageway) from Montefiore Hill to a point 50 meters north
- Palmer Place (eastern carriageway) from Pennington Terrace to a point 20 meters north (traffic diversions at Kermode Street).
- Lakeman Street from Pennington Terrace to a point 50 meters north.
- Abbott Lane from Pennington Terrace to a point 50 meters north.
- Sir Edwin Smith Avenue between King William Road and Brougham Place.
- Frome Road between Brougham Place and Victoria Drive (southbound Adelaide Metro Bus Services exempt)
- MacKinnon Parade from Frome Road to a point 20 meters east (traffic diversions at Finniss Street).
Participants on the closed roads during the times and dates listed above are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour. Emergency and authorised vehicles are exempt from road closures. Police may vary the road closure times at their discretion. S/Sgt Holland. The event road closures are to facilitate the CommBank Women’s Ashes T20I Australia v England to be held at Adelaide Oval on Saturday 25 January 2025.

The City of Adelaide would like your feedback on an application for a City Works Permit from Kyren Pty Ltd for:
The full road closure of Franklin Street between Bentham Street and Young Street from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm Saturday 15 February 2025 and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Sunday 16 February 2025 to facilitate the removal of a tower crane.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 219(4) of the Local Government Act 1999, that on 26 November 2024 Council:
1. Approved the name ‘The Angels Lane’ to the unnamed private road Lettered 'A' and 'C' on Filed Plan 16026 (which said private road commences at 125 Hindley Street, runs in a southerly direction for approximately 32 metres and then turns and runs in a westerly direction for approximately 120 metres whereupon it meets Morphett Street).
2. Approved changing the name of the public road currently known as 'The Angels Lane' to 'Gallerie Lane'.

Notice is hereby given, pursuant to section 219(7) of the Local Government Act 1999, that at its meeting held on 24 September 2024, the Council resolved to adopt an altered policy in relation to the naming of public and private roads. The Policy can be viewed on the City of Adelaide's Naming Policy for Roads page or at its Customer Centre, 25 Pirie Street, Adelaide.

Pursuant to section 223 of the Local Government Act 1999 City of Adelaide is conducting public consultation on a permit application for the 2025 Adelaide International event which require a road closure that may significantly impede the passage of traffic: 2025 Adelaide International closure of portion of War Memorial Drive, between the Adelaide Oval loading dock and the entrance to Next Generation Gym car park, between 6.00am on Thursday 2 January 2025 and 6:00 pm on Monday 13 January 2025.
