Public consultation: Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi (Park 16) Commercial Lease Agreement - closing 15 December

The City of Adelaide gives notice of its proposal to grant leases no longer than 10 years in the Adelaide Park Lands for The Bookmakers and The Kiosk, located in Victoria Park / Pakapakanthi (Park 16).

Under the Local Government Act 1999, Council is required to undertake public consultation in accordance with its Public Consultation Policy before it grants a lease or licence that is greater than 5 years.

Copies of the Key Lease Terms are available for inspection at the Council’s principal office, 25 Pirie Street, Adelaide, Council Libraries and Community Centres.

Consultation opens Monday 24 November 2025.

All submissions must be received by 11:59 pm on Friday 15 December 2025.

Road closures: East End Cellars Summer Series - Vardon Avenue Friday 7 November to Saturday 20 December

East End Cellars Summer Series will take place on Vardon Avenue between 4:00 pm and 11:00 pm on the following dates:

Council has made an order to close the roads below to traffic as provided in Section 33(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Act.

Vardon Ave will be closed on these dates between 3.30pm and 11.59pm.

Participants in Vardon Ave during the date and times listed above, are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour.

Road closures: Ebenezer Night Markets – Ebenezer Place and Union Street - 22 November 2025 to 21 March 2026

Ebenezer Night Markets 2025 will take place on Ebenezer Place, between Rundle Street and Union Street between 2:30 pm and 11:59 pm as well as, Union Street, between Rundle Street and Sym Choon Lane between 4:00 pm and 11:59 pm.

The following dates will be impacted:

SAPOL has made an order to close the roads below to traffic as provided in Section 33(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Act.

Emergency Services and participants in the 2025 Ebenezer Night Markets during the dates and times listed above, are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour.

Road closure: Meander Market - Jerningham Street - Saturday 6 December 2025

A Meander Market event will take place on Jerningham Street on Saturday 6 December 2025.

Council has made an order to close the roads below to traffic as provided in Section 33(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Act.

Jerningham Street, between Melbourne Street and Provost Street will be closed during the following date and times:

From 7:00 am Saturday 6 December 2025 to 5:00 pm Saturday 6 December 2025.

Participants in the Meander Market during the date and times listed above, are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour.

Road closure: Out in the Paddock Xmas Event 2025 - Gillies Arcade and a portion of Playhouse Lane – Saturday 13 December until Sunday 14 December 2025

Out in the Paddock Xmas Event 2025 will take place on Gillies Arcade and a portion of Playhouse Lane on Saturday 13 December 2026.

Council has made an order to close the roads below to traffic as provided in Section 33(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Act.

Gillies Arcade and a portion of Playhouse Lane will be closed during the following date and times:

From 6:00 am on Saturday 13 December 2025 to 12:00 pm on Sunday 14 December 2025.

Participants in Gillies Arcade and Playhouse Lane, during the date and times listed above are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour.

The City of Adelaide was seeking feedback on an application for a City Works Permit from Synergy Construct for:

The removal of both right turn lanes from Grenfell Street into Frome Street from 7:00 am Friday 12 September 2025 to 7:00 pm Wednesday 31 March 2027.

Public notice: Consultation on City Works Permits from Techne Build Pty Ltd closed Tuesday 30 September

The City of Adelaide (CoA) was seeking feedback on two applications for City Works Permits from Techne Build Pty Ltd for:

Application 1

The east and westbound road closure of Wright Street between Whitmore Square and Field Street from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily between Friday 3 October 2025 to Sunday 5 October 2025.

Application 2

The east and westbound road closure of Wright Street between Whitmore Square and Field Street from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am nightly between Wednesday 8 October to Sunday 12 October 2025.

Public notice: Footpath and road closure - Ifould Street - closed on Thursday 16 October

The City of Adelaide (CoA) would like your feedback on an application for a City Works Permit from PH Services Pty Ltd for:
The southern footpath closure and westbound road closure of Ifould Street between Daly Street and Hutt Street, Adelaide from 7:00 am Monday 20 October 2025 to 7:00 pm Tuesday 20 October 2026.

Public consultation: Draft 2025/2026 – 2034/35 Long Term Financial Plan - closed Tuesday 4 November

Pursuant to the provisions of section 122(1A) of the Local Government Act 1999, the City of Adelaide is required to conduct public consultation on its Draft 2025/2026 – 2034/35 Long Term Financial Plan.

Public consultation: Gouger Street Event Road Closures 2026 - closed 1 December

Pursuant to section 223 of the Local Government Act 1999 City of Adelaide conducted a public consultation on a permit application for the 2026 Adelaide Motorsport Festival Gouger Street Party and Chinatown Lunar New Year 2026 events which require a road closure that may significantly impede the passage of traffic.

Closure of portion of Gouger Street between 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Friday 27 February 2026 and portion of Gouger Street between 4:00 am to 11:50 pm on Saturday 21 February 2026.

The full road closure of Wright Street between Whitmore Square and Field Street from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm daily between Wednesday 3 December 2025 to Friday 5 December 2025.

Submissions were open until 11:59 pm Monday 1 December 2025.
