Event: AFL Semi Final: Port Adelaide v Hawthorn

Road closure schedule:

Between 3:00 pm and 11:30 pm on Friday 13 September 2024, the following road will be closed:

• War Memorial Drive between Riverbank Footbridge and King William Road.

Between 9:20 pm and 11:30 pm on Friday 13 September 2024, the following roads will be closed:

• King William Street between Currie Street and North Terrace.
  
• King William Road between North Terrace and Pennington Terrace.
• Festival Drive between King William Road and a point 80 meters west.
• Sir Edwin Smith Avenue between Kermode Street and King William Road.
• Victoria Drive between Kintore Avenue and King William Road.
• War Memorial Drive between the Sir Edwin Smith Avenue intersection and a point 180 metres east.
• Pennington Terrace between Palmer Place and King William Road.

Between 9:40 pm and 11:30 pm on Friday 13 September 2024, the following road will be closed:

• North Terrace between Victoria Street and King William Road.

Consent is granted to the Police Commissioner to order the closure of portions of King William Road, King William Street, South Terrace, Morphett Street, Sturt Street, Anzac Highway and West Terrace, Adelaide between 4:30 am and 10:30 am on Sunday 15 September 2024 for the City to Bay Fun Run 2024.

Participants taking part in the event on the above closed roads are exempted from all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour, and the way vehicles are parked on the road.

Consent is granted to the Police Commissioner to order the closure of Vardon Avenue, Adelaide between East Terrace and Rundle Street between 6:00 am and 5:00 pm on Saturday 12 October 2024 for the Long Lunch on Vardon Avenue.

Participants taking part in the event on the above closed roads are exempted from all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour, and the way vehicles are parked on the road. Local and residential traffic using Vardon Avenue are exempt in relation to vehicle position on a road between the east end of the road closure and East Terrace and the northern end of road closure and Rundle Street.

Pursuant to section 223 of the Local Government Act 1999 The City of Adelaide is conducting Public Consultation on a permit application for the 2025 Beach Volleyball World Championships Adelaide event which require a road closure that may significantly impede the passage of traffic:

Closure of portion of War Memorial Drive, between King William Street and entrance to Next Generation Gym; between 6:00 am on Thursday 13 November 2025 and 5:00 pm on Monday 24 November 2025.
