From 2:30 pm on Friday 18 September 2026 to 9:00 am on Saturday 19 September 2026 , the following roads will be closed.
- Playhouse Lane from Gilles Arcade to a point 20 meters west
- Gilles Arcade in its entirety
Participants on the closed roads during the date and times specified above are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour. Emergency and authorised vehicles are exempt from road closures contact City of Adelaide, Ph 08 8203 7203
From 10:30 am to 6:30 pm on Sunday 20 September 2026, the following road will be closed:
- War Memorial Drive between Riverbank Footbridge and King William Road.
From 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday 20 September 2026, the following roads will be closed:
- King William Street between Currie Street and North Terrace.
- King William Road between North Terrace and Pennington Terrace.
- Festival Drive between King William Road and a point 80 meters west.
- Sir Edwin Smith Avenue between Kermode Street and King William Road.
- Victoria Drive between Kintore Avenue and King William Road.
- War Memorial Drive from Edwin Smith Avenue to a point 180 meters east.
- Pennington Terrace between Palmer Place and King William Road.
From 4:45 pm to 6:30 pm on Sunday 20 September 2026, the following road will be closed:
- North Terrace between Victoria Street and King William Road.
Participants on the closed roads during the date and times specified above are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour. Adelaide University Graduation Ceremonies 2026 will take place on Hindley Street between Liverpool and Clarendon Street on Tuesday 29 September, Wednesday 30 September, Thursday 1 October, Friday 2 October, Tuesday 6 October, and Wednesday 7 October 2026.
Council has made an order to close the roads below to traffic as provided in Section 33(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Act.
Hindley Street between Liverpool Street and Clarendon Street will be closed during the following dates and times:
From 8:30 am on Tuesday 29 September 2026 to 5:30 pm on Tuesday 29 September 2026.
From 8:30 am on Wednesday 30 September 2026 to 5:30 pm on Wednesday 30 September 2026.
From 8:30 am on Thursday 1 October 2026 to 5:30 pm on Thursday 1 October 2026.
From 8:30 am on Friday 2 October 2026 to 5:30 pm on Friday 2 October 2026.
From 8:30 am on Tuesday 6 October 2026 to 5:30 pm on Tuesday 6 October 2026.
From 8:30 am on Wednesday 7 October 2026 to 5:30 pm on Wednesday 7 October 2026.
Participants in Hindley Street, during the dates and times listed above, are exempt from the duty to observe all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour.
Road closures will be in place around the City of Adelaide to support the City to Bay 2026 Fun Run on Sunday 20 September. The following roads within the Adelaide City Council will be closed.
