The City of Adelaide has partnered with local arts and cultural groups, to deliver new artistic programs and experiences across the city and North Adelaide.

A total of $285,000 has been awarded to ten different groups as part of the City of Adelaide Cultural Strategic Partnerships program with each partnership to receive between $10,000 and $50,000.

This is the third instalment of the annual Cultural Strategic Partnerships program which has provided a total of $981,000 in funding for various programs, helping hundreds of artists and organisations.

Lord Mayor Jane Lomax Smith said this program was important to help the city’s thriving arts and cultural scene.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with these artists and innovators to deliver these exciting projects which continue to build Adelaide’s reputation as a dynamic city,” said the Lord Mayor.

“This year we were fortunate to receive a wide range of applications and the partnerships we’ve chosen cover various art forms, genres, performances and delivery modes.

“There’s a wealth of creative talent in this city and we value working in partnership with artists, supporting their endeavours and helping to reach a wider audience.

“It’s great that we can help bring these weird, wild and wonderful ideas to life.”
