Area Councillor Supplementary Election

The City of Adelaide can announce that Keiran Snape has been provisionally elected as the new Area Councillor.

A resident of Wright Street, Keiran has lived in the CBD for over seven years. Keiran serves as President of the City South Association and is a committee member of the Adelaide Park Lands Association.

Lord Mayor Sandy Verschoor welcomed Keiran and thanked the community for having its say.

"I welcome Keiran and congratulate him and every other candidate on putting their hand up to stand for Council," said the Lord Mayor.

"There is a great deal of hard work ahead of us before the next general election as we continue to support the city's recovery and I look forward to Keiran's positive contribution in the chamber and to the community.

"I also thank our community members who took the opportunity to have a say on who they want making decisions about Adelaide's future."

The election was provisionally declared today and is expected to be certified on Monday, 9 August.
