Wellbeing Month at the Adelaide City Libraries
Adelaide City Libraries are places where people can create, connect, and be inspired. Lifelong learning is a core part of our service to the community.
Our libraries have spaces where people can meet, play, explore and learn new ideas and open their eyes to a world of possibilities.
Boost your wellbeing at the libraries
Virtual Library
Connect with our libraries from home through our Virtual Library. You can explore our collections of digital eBooks and magazines, set the mood for a meditation or relaxing walk using our Freegal music service, learn another language through our various online language sites or explore the range of online courses through LinkedIn Learning and learn at your own pace.
Whatever wellbeing looks like for you, our Virtual Library is sure to have something to inspire and delight you.
Become a volunteer
If you are motivated to help others you may like to become involved at our libraries by joining our team of volunteers and share your skills, knowledge, and experiences.
Volunteering is a great way to create a sense of belonging, enable creative expression, promote social inclusion, challenge inequity, encourage sustainable practices and promote wellbeing in city communities. Find out more about volunteering here.
Stay Connected
Want to stay connected to friends and family online? Our digital world is an exciting place. The Adelaide City Libraries have a Digital Hub, where people of all ages can learn, and get help with digital literacy skills, in one-on-one sessions.
If you can’t physically get to one of our libraries, don’t worry, our Home Library Service will keep you connected. This is a dedicated program for City of Adelaide residents who can no longer visit the library or carry items home due to illness, frailty, disability, or their caring role restricting them from getting to the library. Library staff coordinate the service and friendly and skilled volunteers deliver to your door!
