A nature-inspired day out in and around Melbourne Street, North Adelaide!

At your own pace, arrive in the street around 10:00 am, marveling at the nature-inspired installation on the mannequins on the Jerningham Street corner.

Wander along the street, grab a coffee or snack, and make your way to the nature-based craft activities hub for 2-12 year olds at 10:30 am in the laneway next to 93 Melbourne Street.

Led by Nature Play SA, create your own clay creatures, grind and mix your own nature potions, tinker or construct your own nature crafts such as leaf crowns, wattle crowns, seed mosaics or a mini shelter for your tiny toy friends and pets.

Collect your bag and scavenger hunt egg carton from the craft activities hub, grab a bite to eat at one of the many cafes on Melbourne Street, then take the 2-3 minute stroll to the Tidlangga Nature Playspace and sports facilities to play and relax.

Get scavenging to fill your egg carton with natural bits and pieces, and from 1:00 - 2:00 pm ask our special bio-diversity experts to help you and show you all the special plants and creatures in the re-vegetated and re-wilded area of Bundey’s Paddock (Park 9).
