Adelaide is the designated UNESCO City of Music in Australia and this festive season, with thanks to the City of Adelaide, Caravan Sounds and the Hutt Street Traders Association, there will be FREE family friendly musical activations this December on Hutt Street.
Within its wide tree-lined street, celebrate Christmas on Hutt Street, a pleasant place to spend your time with your family and friends, where you can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
Starting from Friday 10th December, each Friday and Saturday afternoon’s from 1pm – 4pm, a cluster of GIANT Christmas Crackers will give you the festive spark you are after!
These giant crackers aren’t your ordinary Christmas decorations, they are here to make you feel great! Designed for you to leave your mark, we invite you, your friends and family to add a Christmas message, a wish, a thanks to someone special, or a simple affirmation to an ever-growing artwork of gratitude.
With a mix of DJs, roving musicians, colourful hosts, and a GIANT installation of community spirit, it’s the perfect way to kick off the Festive Season!

There will also be Christmas carollers and roving performers to entertain on specific days along Hutt Street.
You can also enjoy interactive festive snaps and Christmas Cracker Trails with a unique augmented reality experience brought to you by City of Adelaide.
Hutt Street is the epicentre of the south-east precinct, providing a village-like cluster of cafés and restaurants, alongside day-to-day essentials, and retail offerings where you can shop for Christmas.
