Yianni’s on Hindley is an Adelaide institution and it’s easy to see why they’ve lasted the test of time. Yianni’s is pegged as one of the best in Adelaide amongst yiros enthusiasts. Pick from lamb, chicken, or pork – all cooked over charcoal. The succulent meat is carved fresh upon ordering and tightly packed into pita with lettuce, tomato and garlic sauce. The no frills décor is completely unapologetic but after the first bite, you’ll realise you don’t need much else after the first bite!

This dumpling haven is the kindred spirit of the East End’s Dumpling R US so you know you’re in good hands. The menu is sizeable with all the old faithfuls such as Hainanese chicken rice, kang pao chicken and laksa. You’ll be hard-pressed to find anything that breaks a $15 budget, with plenty under $10.
