Who really needs a reason to shop, right? But when shopping raises money for a good cause, involves pre-loved fashion on sale and is styled by an internationally recognised Adelaide designer, resisting a stylish bargain comes guilt free.

Lady Mayoress Genevieve Theseira-Haese has teamed up with MOSH Australia and city fashionistas including Cristina Tridente, creator of Adelaide fashion label Couture+Love+Madness for the free, Look Good, Feel Good fashion event on Friday 25th September from 4pm in the Queen Adelaide Room at the Adelaide Town Hall.

The Lady Mayoress said the event will not only raise awareness for MOSH Australia, but raise much needed funds.

“MOSH Australia is a great organisation which promotes positive mental wellbeing and this event will help them continue to provide services to individuals and their families,” Genevieve said.

“So many people have offered to support the Look Good, Feel Good fashion event including City of Adelaide staff who are contributing to the parade with donations of clothing, footwear and accessories.”

“I’m very proud to be a part of such a wonderful, life affirming event which will showcase some great fashion from MOSH Op Shops and launch its first Pop up shop in the CBD.”

Adelaide Designer, Cristina Tridente who heads up the team curating the event said people will be surprised with what outfits the teams have put together for the event.

“MOSH Op Shops have an amazing selection of pre-loved fashion, and all it takes to put together a stylish outfit is a keen eye and sense of fun,” Cristina said.

“The looks we’ve put together were inspired by everything from North Adelaide architecture to suits and frocks, and I have no doubt the outfits will inspire others to seek out their own fashion gems at MOSH Op Shops.”

Other curators of the event include the Lady Mayoress, Robyn Wilkinson (wife of Councillor Sandy Wilkinson), Councillor Priscilla Corbell and Amanda Grocock (Rundle Mall Management).

The free event is on Friday 25th September in the Queen Adelaide Room at the Town Hall from 4pm, with the fashion parade starting at 5.45pm.
