Lord Mayor’s Lunar New Year Message 市长新春寄语

On behalf of the City of Adelaide, Lord Mayor Martin Haese wishes everyone a wonderful and prosperous Lunar New Year.
值此新春佳节之际，市长马丁·海泽代表阿德莱德市，祝愿大家度过一个美好祥和的农历新年。

Council is proud to support great events in the city to celebrate the Year of the Rooster, such as the Chinatown Adelaide Lunar New Year Street Party on Saturday 4 February.
阿德莱德市政府有幸能支持在市内举办的各项迎接鸡年的精彩纷呈的庆祝活动，比如即将于2月4日（周六）在唐人街举行的农历新年街头派对。

Ang Pau envelopes are currently also available at Council’s Customer Centre in Pirie Street.
此外，我们在皮里街上的市政府客服中心也准备了红包。

The Lord Mayor acknowledges the importance of these celebrations to the Chinese and other local communities and looks forward to the celebrations.
市长也感受到了这些庆祝活动对广大本地华人和其他社会群体的重要意义，并非常期待庆祝活动的盛大举行。

“There’s a rich cultural diversity in Adelaide and Lunar New Year celebrations give all of us a great opportunity to celebrate this fact together,” said Martin.
“阿德莱德是一个文化十分多元化的社会，农历新年的庆贺活动是一个共同庆祝我们的多元文化的良好机会，”马丁说。

“I encourage everyone to come into the city to celebrate the Year of the Rooster with their family and friends, especially on Saturday night at the street party.”
“我诚挚地邀请大家带上家人和朋友一起加入到市内的庆祝鸡年的活动中，尤其是周六晚间的街头派对。”
