Public transport

With the new Riverbank Bridge – and its connections to the Adelaide Railway Station, the tramline and a range of bus routes – catching public transport to the Adelaide Oval will be easier than ever.

  • The Noarlunga rail line will resume from Sunday 1 December 2013 and will operate throughout the Test. Note: the services don’t run after approximately 8pm. Please check the new temporary timetable online via Adelaide Metro for details.
  • In addition to all regular train and bus services, additional trains will run on Saturday and Sunday while additional buses will be on standby for the duration of the Test. A full fleet of trams will operate, providing on average a 10 minute service along the line between Glenelg and the Adelaide Entertainment Centre.
  • The Riverbank Bridge will be open from 7am to 7pm for the duration of the Adelaide Ashes Test.

When planning your trip to Adelaide Oval, full public transport details and timetable information can be found at www.adelaidemetro.com.au or by calling 1300 311 108.

This year, the Adelaide Oval SMA is also running courtesy golf carts for those patrons needing assistance in entering the ground from the designated drop-off zone on Pennington Terrace.

A designated drop-off zone for patrons with a disability will be available on War Memorial Drive.
