61-65 North Terrace. Established in 1845 as the Black Swan Inn and changed its name to the Centralia in 1940.

"Hotel Betting
As the result of a visit to the Black Swan Hotel, North terrace, by Plain-clothes-Constables Curtis, Phin, and Gardner on November 12, Frank Archer Cragen, who holds the license of the hotel with his brother, was charged in the Adelaide Police Court yesterday with having been at the hotel on the date mentioned for the purpose of unlawful betting. He pleaded not guilty and was defended by Mr. J. W. Nelligan and Mr. J. P. Walsh prosecuted. Messrs. P. Magarey and B. G. Thiselton who were on the bench found the charge proved, and imposed a fine of £50 with 15/ costs."
