North Adelaide Brunch Picks

Coconut Estate Eatery

5/11 O'Connell Street, North Adelaide SA 5006

Coconut Estate Eatery opened in October 2018 and has already been hailed the best-looking brunch in Adelaide. The dishes are inspired by unicorn-rainbow-fantasy magic and almost too pretty to eat.

This new café is inspired by chef and owner Sithara Rajakaruna’s Sri Lankan heritage, where coconut often plays a starring role. There are all the brunch favourites alongside dishes such as spinach and beetroot eggs with dhal and coconut sambal, and smashed avo, seasonal salsa on rye and coconut roti.

Cucina North Adelaide

21 O'Connell St, North Adelaide , 5006

Cucina North Adelaide has perfected the balance of rustic Italian dishes like spaghetti vongole and carpaccio with a fresh and inspiring brunch menu. There is a focus on local produce with free range eggs all sourced locally and smoked bacon from the Barossa Valley. Refresh from the inside out with a freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juice. You can pick from the menu or get creative and build your own! Hot tip: come with a hearty appetite as servings are incredibly generous and you’ll want to savour every bite.

The Store

157 Melbourne St, North Adelaide, 5006

The Store is arguably one of Adelaide’s favourite brunch spots. Most brunch options are available all day and bloody marys are encouraged with a 11am-1pm happy hour on the weekends. The menu ranges from super foods to super indulgent with healthy wraps and salads, smashed avo on toast, or waffles paired with crispy southern fried chicken, maple bacon and ice cream! Furbabies are more than welcome.

UR Caffe

117 Melbourne St, North Adelaide, 5006

This nook was created with the mindset that a cafe is more than a pitstop that you whiz through, it's a place where you can lighten the load and have a moment.. just for you. Enjoy an extensive all day menu with many asian-influenced delights like the teriyaki swiss brown mushrooms and their signature spicy Thai coconut sauce, yum! If that's not enough to entice you, there's often pooches lapping up some sunshine on the footpath outside. Why not bring your own furbaby down for a visit?

Café Fellini

102 O'Connell Street, North Adelaide SA 5006

Cafe Fellini dishes up brekky staples with an Italian twist from 8am daily. Expect poached egg perfection (free range, of course) accompanied by goodies such as dukkah, smashed avo and baby beetroot repandu. Lots of the dishes also come with Fellini’s heavenly wood oven toast. If you’ve been lucky enough to have indulged in one of Fellini’s signature dessert pizzas, try the fritelle buttermilk pancakes for an AM-friendly sugar rush!
