I’ve worked hard but I also realise how fortunate I am to live here with my family and to have been able to enjoy everything that Adelaide offers.

In the past, my community service has been predominantly to the Chinese community. I feel that I now have the experience, time and enthusiasm to make a broader contribution.

Obviously as a new Councillor I will have a lot to learn (and I am doing my ‘homework’) but I am confident that I will be able to represent Central Ward well, through specific initiatives and make a significant Council contribution to the areas of managing the way that Adelaide develops in the future, increasing the liveability of the City, attracting investment and maximising the benefits to Adelaide of modern technology.

Maintaining the balance of Adelaide’s multicultural community and ensuring that we are recognised internationally as a lifestyle, business and tourism destination are also important objectives for Council to deliver.
