Lord Mayor Updates

A quick update from this week's City of Adelaide Council meeting:

  • Council has approved Pulteney Grammar School and Adelaide Harriers to proceed with upgrading facilities on Blue Gum Park / Kurangga (Park 20), noting they will need to give consideration to the size and public accessibility of the facilities as part of their design.
  • The popular ‘First Hour Free’ offer at the Rundle UPark will be extended until 31 December 2018.
  • Council will not be making a submission to the Remuneration Tribunal to change remuneration for elected members and the Lord Mayor for the next Council term.
  • Additionally, we paid respects to former Lord Mayor Steve Condous who passed away earlier this month aged 82.
