Events and Festivals Sponsorship - Now Open
The purpose of the City of Adelaide Events and Festivals Sponsorship Program is to provide financial support to eligible groups and organisations to assist in the staging of events and festivals that support the outcomes of the City of Adelaide Strategic Plan 2016-2020.
Applications for the 2019/2020 Events and Festivals Sponsorship Program are now open and close on Thursday 18 April 2019.
This is the only opportunity to apply for sponsorship funding for events and festivals to be held between 1 July 2019 and 30 June 2020.
Biennial events, currently in their off-year, are also invited to apply for funding at this time.
Funding may be provided to events and festivals for up to 3 years.
Successful applicants will receive minimum $5,000 funding.
Note for Multicultural Festivals and Events
Large scale multicultural festivals and events are encouraged to apply for funding through the Events and Festivals Sponsorship Program.
Please contact the Sponsorship Advisor if you are unsure which program is best suited to your event/festival.
8 March 2019: Sponsorship applications open (one round only)
18 April 2019: Sponsorship applications close 5pm
April-May 2019: Applications assessed
June 2019: Funding recommendations presented to Council for endorsement
July 2019: Applicants notified of funding request outcome
Adelaide Park Lands Multi-Year Event Licences
If you intend to run a *medium sized event or **major event you may be interested in applying for up to five year event licences with the City of Adelaide. Long term licences can bring many great benefits. Expressions of Interest are now open, click here to find out more.
*Medium sized - an event of 1,501 to 9,999 people and/or over 1,000 and less than 20,000 square metres.
**Major event - an event of 10,000 plus people and/or over 20,000 square metres.
