Traffic Restrictions Along Frome Road for Tree Pruning

Traffic restrictions on Frome Road between Victoria Drive and North Terrace will be in place on Sunday 6 July and Sunday 13 July to enable pruning of the trees along the street.

The western carriageway will be blocked and traffic diverted along the eastern carriageway on Sunday 6 July and on Sunday 13 July the eastern carriageway will be blocked and traffic diverted along the western carriageway.

The pruning, which will be carried out by City of Adelaide Arboriculture team, is routine tree care to remove dead wood and provide clearance over and away from the road and buildings.

The trees are very large so the works will be complex and involve multiple elevated work platforms, making carriageway closure necessary.

Traffic and parking restrictions will apply throughout the course of the road works and expiations will apply in restricted areas.

Motorists are advised to choose an alternative route where possible or plan for delays in their travel.

Normal traffic flows are expected to be reinstated at the conclusion of the works.
