Torrens Linear Park - closure of path due to expected floods

In anticipation of the extreme rainfall expected over the next 24 hours, the City of Adelaide and the adjoining Councils are proactively closing the River Torrens Linear Park Trail in the interest of public safety.
The most critical location within the ACC area is downstream of the Torrens Lake Weir and people should avoid using any river crossings in this area.
It is expected that high flows throughout the River Torrens watercourse will continue for at least the next two days following the rainfall event.
We ask that you avoid the area until further notice.
