The City Has You Covered For Spring Fashion

Spring has sprung and that means time to pack away the winter woollies and embrace the new season’s trends. And when it comes to fashion, the city has got you covered.

City of Adelaide has just launched a new one-stop-shop web page where fashion lovers can get all the updates on the latest spring fashion events, parades and hot offers, as well as win some great prizes.

City of Adelaidelor Natasha Malani said that the city is Adelaide’s premier destination for fashion shopping and events this Spring.

“This year is the first year that the Adelaide Fashion Festival, an annual celebration of South Australia’s fashion industry, is being held in the city from 22 to 25 October.

“And just prior to the Festival you’ll see two days of FREE Fashion Parades being held in Rundle Mall, the city’s retail heart.

“There is an incredibly wide variety of fashion available in the city to suit every style and budget, whether you’re after something cool and casual to wear during our hot summer days or something fun and funky for those warm festival nights.

“There are many exciting areas for shoppers to explore as well when they’re hunting for that unique piece, such as Rundle Street, all the nooks and crannies of the Mall, as well as Melbourne and O’Connell Streets.

“The city really is the place for fashion this October.”

Rundle Mall General Manager Amanda Grocock said, “This Spring/Summer ‘Discover Drama’ at Rundle Mall’s FREE Spring Summer Fashion Parades on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October.

“Once again, we’re proud to be showcasing a huge variety of retailers from within Rundle Mall and are looking forward to inspiring Adelaide in conjunction with the Adelaide Fashion Festival.”

As well as checking out all the new season’s fashion and events, fashion lovers can enter a competition to win shopping vouchers and tickets to an Adelaide Fashion Festival Show in the Fashion on the Streets Instagram competition.

Running from Monday 12 October to Friday 23 October, shoppers simply need to take a snap of themselves with their latest Spring purchase and post it to Instagram tagging @cityofadelaide and using #fashiononthestreetsofADL.
