Tee Off With the Kids and Play

The content of this media release is over six months old and may no longer be current.

Each Saturday throughout the month of March from 10am to 2pm the Par 3 Golf Course at North Adelaide in conjunction with City of Adelaide’s Splash Adelaide and Active Ambassador Program is giving parents the opportunity to have a hit of golf with their kids for free.

Program Manager of Active City Matt Rechner says it’s the perfect way to bond and introduce the family to the fun game of golf.

“Golf is a great and easy way to be active and enjoy the outdoors with friends and family,” Matt says.

“City of Adelaide’s Active Ambassador Program with the help of Splash Adelaide has been able to provide the community with many fun ways to get outside and stay active at a free or affordable cost.”

There will be free club hire, a golf professional on hand to give golf tips and a free sausage sizzle will be provided at the end of your round.

Bookings are essential, to reserve a place call 8203 7273.

Splash Adelaide is an initiative created by the City of Adelaide that encourages the community to creatively utilise spaces around the City.
