The city and North Adelaide will come alive tomorrow night as the city gets behind the Adelaide Football Club in its quest to beat Hawthorn in the second semi-final at the MCG.

Many city and North Adelaide pubs will be decked out in blue, red and gold to welcome Crows fans.

City of Adelaide will light up fountains in Crows colours and you can expect Adelaide Oval to be glowing brightly in blue, red and gold.

Lord Mayor, Martin Haese, said the final has been timed perfectly, with big numbers of people expected to gather in the city on Friday evening.

“With late night trading in full swing when the game kicks off, the city will be brimming with people shopping, and city workers staying on after work to enjoy the game in local pubs,” said Martin.

“The atmosphere in the city will be electric and we welcome as many fans as possible into the city and North Adelaide.

“I encourage people to come in and grab some dinner at one of the many fine eateries or pubs and then stick around for this massive game.

“If you’re not lucky enough to be at the MCG, the city is the place to be on Friday night!”

James Brock, Managing Director of The Wellington Hotel, said the hotel would be decked out in Crows paraphernalia.

“We’re calling on a big crowd to come along, watch the final on our big screens, enjoy a meal and a drink, and really soak up the atmosphere,” said James.
