City of Adelaide’s Active Ambassador program is teaming up with Life. Be in it. for a series of Come ‘n Try sessions these September school holidays.

The program for kids aged 4 -16 is part of over 15 sports sessions happening across the city from Monday 28 September, including a unique opportunity to try footy, cricket and tennis on the Adelaide Oval #2.

City of Adelaidelor, Priscilla Corbell, said there are so many unique sports to take advantage of and encourages families to try something new during the holidays.

“We have sports like footy and cricket and others like judo, croquet and water polo that people might not usually have the opportunity to try out,” said Priscilla.

“The sessions are great to teach kids about the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle, but also give them the chance to have fun and try something different.”

General Manager of Life. Be in it., Neil Mackenzie, said the sessions are suitable for all kids, no matter their skill level, and provide a great reason to get out of the house these school holidays.

“Each session is about engaging the kids with the sport, getting them enthusiastic about being active and teaching them life skills like cooperation and team work,” said Neil.

“It’s the perfect way to have some fun, experience the city and Park Lands and try something new, all at low cost.”

Sessions run from Monday 28 September to Friday 2 October at 9:30am, midday or 2:30pm. For further information, visit: www.comentry.com.au.
