Through our Cultural Strategic Partnerships (CSPs), the City of Adelaide works with eligible entities to deliver fun and lively arts and cultural experiences that foster a vibrant, connected, and inclusive community. The eight projects to be delivered through 2024 and 2025 include:
- Tutti Arts Incorporated – The Heart Beat Club
- A series of learning disabled and neurodiverse-led community club nights across Adelaide's West End
- Jacob Boehme (Kaurna/Narungga) – Palti Marri, Songs of the East
- A new intercultural music collaboration and free community performance with Kaurna and Afghan musicians celebrating the history of communities in Adelaide’s South-West
- Writers SA – Context Festival 2024/2025
- A free writers festival at the City Libraries and Minor Works Community Centre featuring a Sister City cultural exchange
- Kaya Blum – Adelaide Jazz Festival 2025
An expansion of the Adelaide’s Jazz Festival in 2025 with six days of accessible music programming across city venues, spaces, and streets for the community.
Lord Mayor Jane Lomax-Smith said Council was pleased to back an initiative that helps activate venues, spaces and the Park Lands all year round.
“These events support reconciliation and inclusivity and boost our reputation for arts and cultural experiences,” said the Lord Mayor.
“But most importantly they bring vitality and fun to our city. We’re really pleased with the quality and diversity of these projects and partnerships, so I encourage everyone to get along to these exciting events and performances over the next year.”
