By Air

Adelaide Airport is only 7km from the city and welcomes 8.4 million visitors a year from twenty-one domestic and regional, and nine international destinations.

If you are heading to or from the airport, you can catch a taxi or the Jet Express bus (J1 or J2) which runs every 15 minutes.

The Adelaide Central Bus Station is in the heart of the city. From here, you can catch a bus by Premier Stateliner, Firefly, LinkSA and Greyhound buses throughout South Australia and Australia.

The Station is a short stroll from the Adelaide Central Market and Chinatown, so why not pop over and have a feed or stock up on snacks for the ride[HD1] [HD2] ?

By Train

Adelaide is your gateway for three iconic train journeys.

The icon Ghan takes you coast to coast from Adelaide to Darwin, allowing you to witness the breadth and depth of stunning Australian landscape in an intimate manner. 

The Indian Pacific takes you on a journey from Adelaide to Perth where you will be treated to an evolving backdrop which includes the Blue Mountains.

Head to Melbourne on The Overland - a route that has been offering a luxury travel experience since 1887!  

Tickets can be booked through Great Southern Rail, and trains arrive and depart through the Adelaide Parklands Terminal (Keswick Terminal).
