The heritage listed Adelaide Arcade is a beautiful shopping experience offering a unique atmosphere.

Adelaide’s first shopping arcade is 130 years old and it is located adjacent the Rundle Mall fountain. When next in the city, treat yourself with a visit to Adelaide Arcade - take the time to meet a friend, enjoy a coffee or just browse for a while. You’ll be surprised by what you’ll find. The Arcade has a wonderful selection of unique independent shops and on level 1 you will discover their Museum that traces the centre’s history.

At Adelaide Central Plaza, the home of David Jones, you can spoil that someone special with a gift from exclusive stores like Tiffany & Co, Solid Gold Diamonds, Cue, Veronika Maine and Calibre, just to name a few.

Having recently undergone a transformation, Adelaide Central Plaza now boasts a luxurious new lower ground floor dining Precinct – Dine Central, where you can treat your tastebuds with many special delights. Home of the recently refurbished David Jones, the lower ground floor has now been transformed into designer brand shoe emporium, with brands Valentino, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin paving the way for Adelaide’s fashionistas.

Be sure to check it out, 100 Rundle Mall, by the iconic Malls’ Balls.

Chinatown in Adelaide is located on Moonta Street, adjacent to the large Adelaide Central Market precinct between Grote and Gouger streets.

Two large Paifang, which were erected by the city council, are guarded by the Chinese guardian lions that mark the entrances at either end. Adelaide Chinatown consists mainly of Chinese restaurants, grocery stores and markets but also consists of many other Asian restaurants offering international cuisines from India, Japan, Korean, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.

City Cross Arcade is located in the heart of the city, with entrances on Rundle Mall, Grenfell Street, Gawler Place and James Place.

As part of their stunning transformation, City Cross includes Harvey Norman and Rebel Sports on level 1. The modern International Food Court outlets include, Oporto, Charlesworth Nuts, Boost Juice and Indian takeaway offering a wide range of quality meals and quick bites to satisfy any craving you may have.

You will also find a range of fashion, gifts and homewares, men’s barber, hair and beauty, nail salon and convenient services including a watch doctor, engraver, ATMs, pharmacy and lotteries.

Gays Arcade and Adelaide Arcade were built at the same time in the 1880’s boom period and beautifully reflect the architecture of the time.

It was also the first retail establishment to have electric lights in Australia. The Arcades helped to transform Rundle Street into a substantial retail precinct over time. T’Arts- Textile & Arts Collective, Café L’Incontro, Industrie clothing and other popular food outlets add to the mix of this gorgeous arcade.

Adjacent to Chinatown, Market Plaza Arcade features 70 specialty shops plus two large food courts.

Its wide range of products makes it your one stop shop for your grocery, gift, souvenir and specialty shop needs. The arcade features small-goods specialists, a bakery, newsagent, pharmacies, florist, several fashion and shoe retailers. Goodies & Grains offers fresh and bulk organic foods.

Convenient parking is provided above the arcade in the Central Market car park.

The Myer Centre is home to the largest Myer department store in South Australia, an underground foodcourt and over 100 specialty retailers. Set over 5 levels on the edge of Rundle Mall, national retailers within the centre include Rebel Sport, Lush, Review, Aquila, Secrets Shhh, Platypus Shoes, Toyworld, Jamaica Blue and Angus & Coote.

On level 3 you will find a very large Lincraft store with a huge selection of fabrics, patterns, knitting wools, art & craft, haberdashery and curtain materials.

Regent Arcade is located in the heart of Rundle Mall opposite the famous 'malls balls'. 

It's the place to go for unique fashion at ‘Fabulous Consignment Store’ and ‘Leatherworks’, or perhaps something a little more glam from Shiels. You can also find Peter Shearer, one of Adelaide’s most recognised menswear fashion retailers in the State. And before you leave the arcade you can’t go past a latte from Larry & Ladd!

Rundle Place is Adelaide’s destination for fashion and food in Rundle Mall.

Lose yourself in over 60 stores, featuring many overseas fashion designers, including Ted Baker and Trenery complemented by Oxford, Country Road, Kookai, Seed, Witchery and Seduce.

Rundle Place is also home to Adelaide’s only Apple Store. There’s also 77, a cutting-edge food court with a unique setting that’s unlike anything you have ever feasted your eyes on. With Italian, Mexican, Vietnamese and Japanese tastes on offer. It’s time to surrender to your passion for shopping at Rundle Place.

The Station Arcade connects to the Train Station and is well known for its Bottle-O and Smokemart plus budget-price-Asian eateries but it’s also home to one of Australia’s finest and oldest, second hand book sellers, O’Connell’s Bookshop. Station Arcade, a purpose-built thoroughfare with 30,000 commuters passing through each day, is also the home of some new pop up stores, and increasingly delightful places to eat.

Charles Street Plaza is a destination for shoppers and students right in the heart of the City. It boasts convenient parking with over 1200 spaces in the Wilson’s Adelaide Central car park on North Terrace. The arcade is linked to David Jones and Renaissance Arcade and is in close proximity to Rundle Mall. The Plaza contains a diverse range of shops including JJ Brown Watchmaker, City Gold Jewellers, Signature Café, Barlow Shoes, giftware and takeaway food outlets

Close to Hindmarsh Square children’s Playspace, Rundle Square is home to Opt Shop, Chatime, Terry White and Westpac. For fast and fresh food, you can also find Romeo’s Foodland, McDonalds and Sushi Hub. And while your there, you can also visit the world wide sports brand Nike!

This quirky little arcade has a record shop, barber and more.

Da Costa is conveniently located on the corner of Gawler Place and Grenfell Street. The arcade has a range of small businesses including a men’s barber, cafes, hairdressers and mobile phone shops. Harrisons Music, a guitar specialist, is located on Grenfell Street near a gift shop. A shoe repairer and record shop add to the quirky nature of this small arcade.

Winding between Rundle Mall near the Richmond Hotel and Pulteney Street, Renaissance Arcade has a fascinating range of shops that range from the indulgent to the practical. You can find a hairdresser, make-up artist, bookstore, picture framer and jeweller here, just to name a few. 

Find several unique businesses including a colourful florist, a traditional New York style beigelry and even has it's own micro brewery.

Running between Waymouth and Currie Streets, Topham Mall was part of an City of Adelaide’s recent “Place-making” project to revitalise the area. The project has injected new life, colour and vibrancy into the Mall and connecting laneways. It is home to several unique businesses including a colourful florist The Flower Nook, a traditional New York food outlet The Beigelry and even has it's worn micro-brewery, the Lady Burra Brewhouse. Enter from Waymouth Street for easy to access parking in the Topham UPark. This car park is the ideal location for city workers or short term appointments and shopping.

Shopping is a pleasure at the Twin Street Plaza with books, music and a café all in the one place.

Find Antiquarian & Secondhand books at Adelaide Booksellers, Movie & TV Collectables and Memorabilia at Mad Zombie Collectables as well as the latest in large menswear at Brown’s Big Size Menswear. Sylvia’s Café is popular with local workers as they look over the green lush Hindmarsh Square.

North Adelaide Village has it all… from relaxation, healthy lifestyle options to that well deserved coffee break… there is something for all.

North Adelaide Village Shopping Centre is located on O’Connell Street, North Adelaide. The very popular Romeo’s Foodland Supermarket, Palmdale Village Meat and Metropolitan Fresh Fruit & Vegetables offer an excellent selection of fresh food. The bookshop Booked at North Adelaide and Tuyu Designs are well recognised names in North Adelaide for fits and fashion. There is a Goodlife Gym offers a range of fitness programs and is accessible by members 24 hours a day. There is also a chemist, newsagent, dry cleaner, travel agent and choice of banks.
