Dessert Bar Guide

Why not create yourself a 'dessert bucket list'? We’ll get you started with some of the best Instagram-worthy desserts we found around Adelaide. Here are some of the traditional, the pretty, the healthy (ish) and the quirky – enjoy!

Chocolate Taperia

5/168 Melbourne Street, North Adelaide

If you’re looking for the perfect dessert bar after your dinner date and you love all things chocolate – then Chocolate Taperia should be on your radar. With a cosy, romantic setting - cue in the lamp-lit booths - everything on the Chocolate Taperia menu is designed to be devoured with chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate.

With a fun menu including the ‘Movie Night’ entailing popcorn, churros, a macaron, ‘ice cream’ cone and a milk shake (pictured), the Waffle Tower – made up of ice cream, fruit and waffles, or our pick - the Fruit Salad Fondue plate (and our claim to a healthy-ish dessert!) the Chocolate Taperia is a great place to share a dessert with your loved one.

48 Flavours

 78 Gouger Street, Adelaide

A must-try for ice cream lovers! Not only do 48 Flavours make their ice cream fresh in store with produce from the Adelaide Central Market, they specialise in vegan options and Asian flavours, including black sesame, lychee, and durian.

Cool tip: Try their international award winning Gorgonzola and pear with organic fig and roasted walnut flavour. Yum!

Cafe Fellini

 102 O'Connell Street, North Adelaide

Cafe Fellini may be home of the wood oven pizza, but it also boasts an impressive menu of decadent dessert pizzas for sweet tooths.

Topped with Italian custard, gelato and some seriously impressive chocolate chards, there are eight flavours for you to indulge in - Nutella, Death by Chocolate and Oreo just to name a few.
