Tucked away in the city’s southeast, this cosy cafe sits along leafy Gilles Street with plenty of tables outside for you and your pooch. Built on lovingly homemade food and community vibes, there are plenty of poles for leads. 

Dogs are always welcome at refined New York style Jewish deli The Flying Fig. The pet-friendly North Adelaide eatery offers seating outside with water bowls and lead poles. Your pup might even become ‘insta-famous’ with owners regularly featuring a special furry visitor on their Instagram page. You can chow down on a classic New York Reuben, stacked with smoked pastrami and pickled veg, while your pooch soaks up the fresh air and sunshine.

After a massive $5 million revamp Pityarilla, commonly referred to as Marshmallow Park, opened an impressive fenced, off-leash dog park for canines of all sizes late last year. Located in the Southern Park Lands, the space has been transformed into a pet-paradise for dogs with a natural obstacle course including logs, rocks and turfed area. With a water play feature for pups and a sheltered BBQ area for owners, Pityarilla serves as the perfect picnic choice for a day out with the whole family.
