Winter in the East End
12 July - 24 August 2019, Friday & Saturdays 5:30pm till late*

Things are warming up in the East End laneways this winter. Sip hot chocolate or mulled wine by the firepits and listen to live music to warm your soul. Indulge your senses and discover four laneways like you've never seen them before!

Guitars in Bars
Throughout July 2019
Guitars in Bars is an open access festival celebrating guitar music, held as part of the Adelaide Guitar Festival. A line up of diverse musicians is curated each year, with over 780 artists performing in more than 220 gigs in 100 venues across SA in 2018.
The Guitars in Bars program offers a range of gigs that are free to attend. Make sure you check out the gig guide and head out on the town to support home grown artists throughout July.

Throughout August 2019
The South Australian Living Artists Festival (SALA) will bring the city to life throughout August, with art and artists popping up in traditional as well as more unique locations throughout the CBD and North Adelaide. Exhibitions are free to attend, be sure to grab a festival program and keep an eye out for exhibition openings, as complimentary drinks and nibbles may be on offer!
The City Library is taking part as a venue for the second year running, awarding a local emerging curator the opportunity to fill the Library with artwork showcasing the diverse cultural and artistic practices that flourish in Adelaide.
Run Park, Run
Where better to get the heart pumping than in the stunning Adelaide Park Lands? There are several running groups and events in the city each week that provide runners with an opportunity to build week on week to achieve their personal best time.
Many of the groups are organised by enthusiastic volunteers who have created a tight-knit running community who are successful in encouraging one another and warmly welcoming new runners.

The Media Lab is a place where digital masterpieces are created and where the latest equipment and technology can bring to life documentaries, short films, animation, soundscapes, photography and graphic design.
The latest tech is available to play with, including a HD Sony Video Camera and Logitech WebCam, Green Screen, Intuous Pro Watcom, plus iMacs complete with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, Avid Protools, Sibelius and more. Equipment can be hired by the hour, with one-on-one training workshops also available.
Adelaide City Bikes
Adelaide Free Bikes are available throughout the city to hire for FREE! Explore the city and it’s parklands on 2 wheels, why not rug up for a fun day out while keeping active this winter.
To hire a free Adelaide Free Bikes all you need to bring is a valid driver's licence, passport or Australian proof of age card. Your ID will be held as a deposit for the duration of the hire and will be given back to you when you return your Adelaide Free Bikes to the point of hire.
