Marshmallow Playspace and Oxbow Playspace
Pelzer Park / Pityarilla (Park 19), off northern end of Glen Osmond Road
When it comes to play experiences, you’ll be spoilt for choice at the Pityarilla Activity Hub. Adventurous kids can roam wild in the nature play of the Oxbow Playspace, hop cross the rocks of the renewed creek bed, and then skip into Marshmallow Playspace.for water play and a slide.
Unique play: Marshmallow – water play, wooden climbing frame. Oxbow – Large wooden climbing frame, boulder island and stepping stones
Traditional play: Marshmallow - long and small swings, big slide, sandpit

MOD.
North Terrace, adjacent Morphett Street Bridge, Adelaide
MOD. at the University of South Australia is a futuristic museum of discovery, a place to be inspired.
With seven interactive gallery areas and seasonal exhibitions, MOD. aims to inspire young adults aged 15+ about science and technology, showcasing how research shapes our understanding of the world to inform the future.
Entry to MOD. is free.
Open Tuesday to Thursday 12pm to 6pm, Friday 12pm to 8pm, Saturday and Sunday, 10am - 4pm

South Australian Museum
North Terrace, Adelaide, between the State Library and Art Gallery
Open 10am – 5pm daily
The SA Museum hosts a variety of fun activities for children during the school holiday break, including model-making, painting with machines and collaging. Each session combines a fun, educational element with craft activities, leaving the children a little wiser and with something fun to take home.
Entry to the museum is free, except for special exhibitions.
Adelaide Botanic Garden
North Terrace, Adelaide
Pack a picnic and stroll through the Adelaide Botanic Garden, explore the wide range of exciting garden displays including the enchanting Australian Forest.
Open weekdays 7:15am to 5pm, weekends and public holidays 9am to 5pm

TreeClimb Adelaide
Kurangga (Park 20) | Corner of Greenhill and Unley Roads
Adelaide's first nature-based aerial adventure park is now open! Offering six elevated tree walk courses, including a range of suspension lines, bridges, flying foxes and climbing obstacles set amongst the beautful trees of the Adelaide Park Lands.
It's located adjacent the newly updated Kurangga BMX tracks, perfect for planning one very action-packed day!

The Shadow Initiation - SA Museum
North Terrace, Adelaide, between the State Library and Art Gallery

Covering the majority of the Museum’s permanent displays, The Shadow Initiation is a digital adventure game that will encourage you to see your favourite Museum galleries and objects in a new light.
The aim of the game is to work with family and friends to accrue as many points as possible by completing challenges and discovering hidden objects from the Museum’s archives and collections.
Taking place on a tablet, up to four people can play at one time. With over 40 challenges to choose from and one hour on the clock, players work their way through the Museum, strategically selecting which challenges to accept and trying to complete as many as possible within the allocated time.
Adelaide Zoo

The Adelaide Zoo provides a naturally wild experience right in the heart of the city.
Children can interact in the Children’s Zoo and hand feed the animals, or take a walk on the wild side and experience Nature’s Playground, with nature-inspired play equipment suitable for all abilities.
Be sure to look out for the themed animal presentations explaining just how their incredible animal residents use nature in the wild to learn and play.
