10 – 26 October
Created for those aged 50+, this South Australian arts and cultural festival is aiming to turn stereotypes of what it means to be older on their head! Celebrating its 51st birthday (previously the Every Generation Festival), ZestFest will celebrate modern ageing in 2018 with events, workshops, activities and forums across the city and SA.
TARNANTHI Art Fair
26 – 28 October
Held every year in October, the TARNANTHI Art Fair offers the unique opportunity to meet and buy works of art direct from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and Art Centres.

For two glorious weeks, OzAsia brings to Adelaide the best in contemporary dance, theatre, music, film, literature, food and culture from across Asia today. Behold the magic of the Moon Lantern Parade in Elder Park on Saturday 27 October, and delight in the tastes of the Lucky Dumpling Market.

Cheesefest + FERMENT
27 – 28 October
Calling all foodies! Australia’s biggest cheese festival CheeseFest has joined forces with the one and only Ferment the Festival to bring your tastebuds a weekend of gourmet delights. Celebrate this match made in heaven amongst the picturesque surrounds of Rymill Park / Murlawirrapurka with tastings, live music, cooking demos and more.
27 – 28 October
Enjoy a feel-good weekend at SA's largest celebration of all things vegan! There’ll be something for vegans and non-vegans alike, with world-renowned guest speakers, cooking demonstrations, kids activities, local musicians, and creative hands-on workshops, including the chance to create your own bath bomb with Lush Cosmetics. Plus, there’ll be over 80 market stalls of 100% vegan food, drink, fashion and products, and the festival will be opened with a vibrant parade down King William Street to kick off celebrations!

The elves at Stardust Castle are busy putting the final touches to spectacular new floats and creating colourful costumes for this year’s magical parade through the city’s streets! This hugely popular free event brings families and the wider Adelaide community together to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas.

Get ready for a kaleidoscope of colour and a supreme level of talent when Feast, Adelaide’s annual festival of arts and culture celebrating diverse sexualities and genders, kicks off in November. This year’s theme is Pink Flamingos, so expect Adelaide to transform into a pink and feathery paradise!
Australian International 3 Day Event
15 – 18 November
Giddy-up! Australia’s premier equestrian competition – comprising Dressage, Cross Country and Show jumping – is also a showcase for the city’s picturesque East Park Lands. Come witness the crowning of champions in this triathlon of Horse Sport.
