Plan Your Journey

{alt_text}

Whether you're riding your bike, catching public transport or driving in, use our guide to plan your visit to the Adelaide Riverbank.

Ride your bike

Bike riders can park their bikes in special bike-rack stations located throughout the event grounds. Look for the bike icons on our site map for locations.

Public transport

Adelaide Metro will be offering free public transport in and out of the city all day New Year's Eve until approximately 6 am the following morning. Free transport will be available on trams, trains and buses. You could even drive part of the way and catch public transport from a Park ‘n’ Ride location for the rest of the trip. Check out the Adelaide Metro website for Park ‘n’ Ride details, event routes and timetables.

Parking in the city

With limited on street parking available due to the Adelaide Strikers v Sydney Sixers Big Bash cricket at Adelaide Oval, UPark has a number of car parks that are within walking distance of the Adelaide Riverbank, including UPark on Topham, UPark on Gawler Place and UPark on Light Square. Parking starts from as little as $8 flat rate. For guaranteed parking book online at least 30 minutes in advance at UPark to find out more.

If you own an electric vehicle and are considering driving in, UPark Wyatt, UPark Topham and UPark Rundle all house electric vehicle charging stations. The first hour of charging is free!

Another option if you need to drive in is to car pool. Find out if any of your friends are heading into the city and share the festive fun by travelling in together.
