The City of Adelaide’s free New Year’s Eve party in Elder Park and Adelaide Riverbank will be the place to welcome in 2019! This year we’re bringing a brand new, jam packed program with live music, roving performers, and of course TWO mesmerising HomeStart Fireworks displays!
The Kids Zone will be back again this year with a full family program on the Street Theatre Stage, children’s shows in the Little Palais and craft workshops for the kids, a bubble show as well as biggest variety of roving performers yet.

Fans of Spiderbait, Jet, Powderfinger and You Am I will be thrilled to hear that the Antipodean Rock Collection (ARC) will be headlining our show! ARC is a supergroup of Australian rock legends featuring Kram from Spiderbait, Mark Wilson from Jet, Darren Middleton from Powderfinger, and Davey Lane from You Am I. They will playing a huge line up of all your old favourites.
Mudra Dance will be providing colourful and vibrant Bollywood entertainment.
China Roses are an electronic, pop-rap duo with lyrical influences such as Lily Allen and Allday.
Max Savage & the West End Dirty Thirty sit somewhere between country, soul, cabaret and rock and roll. Max brings together some of the city's most gifted arrangers and performers into an eclectic, outrageous and inevitably groovy big band.

Alana Jagt & the Monotremes bring together indie pop and rock with moody alt-country and Motown groove. Backed by a cohort of South Australia’s finest musicians, Alana performs powerful, vocal-led solo affairs; playful trio shows; and with six-piece, twin-guitar rock band, The Monotremes.
Donnarumma bring an exhilarating rock attitude on stage with punk and pop-esk sensibilities. The four-piece band hailing from Adelaide, play a daring and dramatic brand of rock.
DJ Tim Whitt will be pumping out the tunes accompanying our two spectacular HomeStart Fireworks displays. Tim Whitt is an Adelaide producer, sound designer and DJ. He has an incredibly diverse taste in music from Kylie Minogue to Tom Waits to Major Lazer to Public Enemy to Ennio Morricone but is particularly partial to hip hop and 1970s funk and soul.

The City of Adelaide Pipe Band will be kicking off proceedings with the breathtaking sound that only bagpipes can bring.
Events like Adelaide’s New Year’s Eve don’t happen without the support of partners. This year, our stage program will be brought to you thanks to Ten Gigabit Adelaide.
