Free Art Classes

The Art Gallery of South Australia is nurturing the creativity of little minds with ‘Start at the Gallery’. Each month there is an introduction to art event for children aged 3-12 and their families. Live performances, tours and art activities on the theme of the current exhibitions.

Dream BIG

Dream Big Children’s Festival offers inspiring arts experiences for little and young people. The program is packed full of performances, exhibitions, workshops and activities themed around People Together. There are oodles of free events available alongside ticketed options.

If you’re after an outing with a little less structure, there are endless beautiful places in the Adelaide Park Lands to set up for the day.

Set up on the lush plaza for a perfect view of the huge Pelzer Park / Pityarilla Activity Hub just off Glen Osmond Road. A gorgeous creek runs through the park and makes for a stunning picnic setting.
