Markets & Street Trading

Markets are a great way to trial your products, gain customer feedback and start trading with minimum investment. The following temporary and permanent markets are held in the city.

Concession Stalls on Rundle Mall

Brand new concession areas are available for you to hire in Rundle Mall for a period of up to 6 months, creating a unique location to highlight your vibrant business idea. 

General Street Trading

If you wish to operate a street trading stand, selling a unique good or service in the public realm, you will need an on-street activities permit.

You must provide details and images of the items to be sold together with a diagram / site plan of the stall structure and location.

Adelaide Central Market

The Central Market is vibrant and multicultural space in the city. Hosted in an iconic building on Gouger Street, it is visited by thousands of locals and visitors weekly.

The Guild Marketplace

Gilles at the Grounds

Gilles at the Grounds is a focused fashion and accessories market only. It provides a fantastic platform for young South Australian designers and gives them the opportunity to develop their brands and style.

North Terrace Night Market

The Adelaide Night Market is an event supported through the Splash Adelaide program. This market offers a combination of food, music and fashion, making it a wonderful excuse for friends and families to get together.

Where: North Tce between Kintore Ave & King William St
When: Last Sunday of the month (only during October to May), 4pm to 8pm
