Join in the magic and tradition of the official first lighting Adelaide's Giant Christmas Tree for the season.
Come along for a free community celebration featuring our delightful MC Shanelle Franklin, enjoy live music and performances from Sun of Africa, The Baker Boys, World Music SA and the talented Primary Schools Festival of Music Choir.
Food trucks and live entertainment will make it a fun night out for the whole family!
Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy the festivities.
The tree lighting ceremony will commence at 8:30 pm.

A dazzling light display runs each night of the city’s Christmas festival.
The Giant Christmas Tree features 13,616 individually programmable LED lights and lighting takes place from 15 November 8:30 pm to 2:30 am each night of the Christmas Festival.
Each display loop lasts 10 minutes.
