Quick Response Program

As a result of physical distancing requirements associated with COVID-19 there has been significant disruption to the events sector.

In response to these impacts, once-off sponsorship funding of up to $10,000 is now available for eligible requests to support events and festivals held throughout 2020-21. Council may consider requests for support for the purpose of assisting events and festivals to react, adapt and transition in the current climate.

As at 6 October 2020, the funding pool is $174,000 and is subject to change.

Applications are open until 31 May 2021 or until funds are exhausted.

Applicants are also encouraged to refer to the City of Adelaide Strategic Plan 2020-24 before applying.

Annual Program

The purpose of the City of Adelaide Events and Festivals Sponsorship Program is to provide financial support to eligible groups and organisations to assist in the staging of events and festivals that support the outcomes of the City of Adelaide Strategic Plan 2020-24. 

Applications for the 2020-21 Events and Festivals Sponsorship Program are now CLOSED.
