Business Accessibility Support Program
The 2026/2027 Business Accessibility Support Program round will open in December 2026.
The City of Adelaide is proudly supporting a cohort of eligible businesses to participate in the Business Accessibility Support Program (BASP).
About the program
This program is for small and medium businesses based in the City of Adelaide wanting to grow their revenue and customer base among people with disability and their companions by integrating inclusive practices for customers with disability.
This program will help selected businesses implement accessibility improvements that are achievable, impactful, and low-cost. The program will help you explore solutions that you can put into practice right away – improvements that go beyond compliance and accessible toilets and parking spaces, such as adding braille menus, creating sensory-friendly spaces or adding non-slip flooring.
Program benefits & features
The Business Accessibility Support Program is designed to provide businesses with funding, tools and practical guidance needed to improve accessibility across their physical, digital, and service areas.
Successful applicants will receive:

- Funding for a portion of the cost of accessibility upgrades: Funding is available to make accessibility improvements to your physical space, digital platform, or customer service strategies based on advice from our Access Consultant.
- E-Learning modules: Take part in practical training covering key accessibility areas: physical access, digital accessibility, and inclusive customer service.
