Adelaide Town Hall - Community Activation Fund

Applications are welcome for Adelaide Town Hall's Community Activation Fund for events due to be held in the 2019 - 2020 financial year.

What is the Community Activation Fund?

The Community Activation Fund is an opportunity for eligible not-for-profit groups and organisations to apply for up to $5,000.00 worth of in-kind venue hire support to host an event in one of our beautiful venues. This recognises the role that not-for-profit and community organisations play in improving the City of Adelaide, and the wellbeing of the people of Adelaide.

Whether you are a large or small not-for-profit, we welcome you to apply if you are after an iconic, centrally-located venue for fundraisers, celebrations, meetings and events. 
We are looking for events that have a clear vision and plan for event delivery, including purpose of event and intended outcomes.

Who can apply?

We welcome applications for the Adelaide Town Hall Community Activation Fund from the following:

  • incorporated not-for-profit organisations that do not already have a contract or agreement with Adelaide Town Hall
  • an unincorporated not-for-profit organisation may also apply, under the auspices of an incorporated not-for-profit organisation able to accept legal and financial responsibility for the applicant's project
  • Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporations (under the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Act 2006)
  • Applicants who receive support through other City of Adelaide funding opportunities are welcome to apply;

Note: priority will be given to residents, community groups, charitable organisations and not-for-profit organisations based and operating within the city of Adelaide boundaries
Applicants must not have any overdue City of Adelaide funding acquittals or outstanding debts with the City of Adelaide.
