Financial support for your action

Businesses in the City of Adelaide can get money back for CitySwitch projects through the Incentives for Sustainability.

Projects can include:

  • Setting up a greenhouse gas inventory and emissions reduction plan
  • An independent audit of your greenhouse gas emissions inventory
  • Certifications through Green Star, Earth Check, Living Buildings
  • Solar and battery installation for business
  • Energy efficiency measures for strata-managed buildings

Adelaide success stories

Around 19 per cent of all Australian office spaces are signed up to CitySwitch.

In 2022, 82% of these businesses were measuring their scope 1 and 2 emissions producing an average of 71 kg carbon dioxide equivalents per square meter of office-space.
