Fair Trade is a global movement that aims to educate and empower us to use our consumer choices to benefit poorer communities around the world. Fair Trade addresses the injustices of international trade, which traditionally discriminates against workers and producers in developing countries. By requiring companies to pay sustainable prices to their workers and producers, these poorer communities are empowered and able to improve their situation.
