As an Adelaide City Libraries member you have access to a range of Virtual Library resources. Watch a movie, read an e-book or magazine, stream your favourite music, learn a language, connect with your community and find information online.

eBooks and Audiobooks

Adelaide City Libraries offers a large collection of downloadable eBooks and Audiobooks including classics, new releases, nonfiction and bestsellers for all ages. 

Download wirelessly to your compatible eBook reader, iPad, smartphone, mp3 player, PC and laptop anytime, 24 hours a day.

Simply browse, check out, download and enjoy!

You will need:

  • A South Australian library card
  • Internet access (Access FREE Wi-Fi in the Adelaide CBD)

and any one of the following:

  • A ‘smart’ device, such as an iPad or smartphone, with the OverDrive app downloaded
  • A handheld eBook reader that you have connected to your computer with the product’s software
  • A computer that you wish to read eBooks on
