Start the New Year with a bang!
Adelaide City Council’s Free New Year’s Eve event will be a great night of live music, food stalls and fireworks. The atmosphere at Elder Park will be electric, with entertainment great for all ages.
The historic Rotunda will be bathed in light and provide the focal point for live entertainment. The night sky will light up with two rounds of spectacular Nine News fireworks designed by award-winning Foti International Fireworks.
Enjoy the array of international food and purchase beverages from the licensed bar and beer garden. No BYO alcohol is allowed at the event.

DRINKING AT THE EVENT
Alcoholic beverages will be for sale in the New Year’s Eve Bar & Beer Garden. The rest of Elder Park will be a dry area and no BYO will be permitted. Proof of age will be required for alcohol purchases.
NEW YEAR’S EVE BARS & BEER GARDEN
People will be able to enjoy a range of local beverages including Coopers Handcrafted Beers, Adelaide Hills Cider and Aramis Wines in the licensed bars and beer garden.
BANKSA CUSTOMER LOUNGE
BankSA customers will be able to kick back and relax in the BankSA Customer Lounge (located in the NYE Beer Garden). Show your BankSA card to gain access, with up to three friends, to the exclusive bar area with seating, shade and entertainment (subject to capacity).
There are a number of ways you can drink alcohol responsibly to ensure you have a good time.
Access to Elder Park will be from King William Road.
Public transport will be running to and from the city. Check the Adelaide Metro website for details
Parking will be available at Adelaide City Council UPark stations as well as on-street parking around the City of Adelaide.
